At Paws Playground we want all of our doggy day care friends to have fun with their fellow 4 legged pals in our safe and caring environment.
To maintain this we do require your help;
1) All dogs attending daycare must be comfortable and happy around other dogs and the team.
- After a meet and greet with you and your dog, each dog will have an assessment trial session to ensure they are suitable for daycare and enjoying it. The assessment is 2 hours and charged at a half day rate. Following a successful visit your dog will then be offered a regular place for daycare.
2) All dogs must be up to date with their standard puppy / booster vaccinations. This is a requirement of our council license and as such a copy will be kept and checked each year. Kennel Cough is optional but not compulsory.
3) All adult males over the age of 1 year must be castrated for a happy environment. We would also prefer all adult females are also neutered. We are unable to accept bitches in season for daycare.
4) Dog owners must inform us of any changes to the dog's health, temperament, welfare or social etiquette so that we can maintain the correct and safe environment for your dog.
5) Dress code - by law all dogs must wear a collar with a tag engraved with the owner surname and address. A contact number is also preferable and all dogs must be microchipped.
6) Please understand that by having your dog at daycare you accept that there is a small risk that your dog could be injured or cause injury to another dog. Unfortunately as we all know dogs can squabble over silly little things and so we are unable to completely eliminate risk of injury. However at Paws Playground we take all reasonable precautions to ensure that risk is minimal and daycare is a safe place to be by supervising play at all times. We recommend your dog is insured should he/she require treatment or cause injury requiring veterinary care.
7) We agree to try and contact you or your alternative contact in the case of an emergency with your pet. If we cannot contact you then we reserve the right to act on your behalf and with a veterinary surgeons advice.
8) When visiting your home we will ensure the house is locked and secure as per your instructions.
9) We are insured to hold keys to your home so we can collect your dog when you are away or working. However if we do not keep your key then a collection fee is charged each time we need to collect it prior to a service.
